I need help in deciding which software with PVR directly to ...

Here's my setup (yes, it is low power, but that's all I is for now).

Athlon 2800 +
512 MB DDR RAM
HD 500 GB (ATA/100)
Hauppauge 350 capture card (with remote)

However, would the PVR software works best and why? Linux for the benefit of Linux is not an acceptable answer - I certainly am ready to use on Windows, so that means that you have a better user experience or more features ... etc. etc.
